Privacy Policy

USA VPN encrypts your internet traffic and sends it through one of our VPN servers. This policy explains exactly what we store and why.

What we do not collect

• We do not log the websites you visit, the content of your traffic, or DNS queries.
• We do not keep logs of when you connect or disconnect.
• We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number to use the app.
• We do not sell or share data with advertisers.

What we store

• Device key and token. The app creates an encryption key pair on your device. We store the public key and a hashed access token so our servers can recognise your device. The private key never leaves your device.
• Platform. Whether the app runs on iOS or Android.
• Subscription status. If you subscribe, we store the subscription identifier from Apple or Google and its expiry date, to give you access to the VPN. Payments are handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see your payment details.

Temporary connection data

While you are connected, the VPN server necessarily holds your current IP address and port in memory so it can send traffic back to you. It is not written to disk and is discarded when the connection goes idle or the server restarts.

Third-party services

• ipinfo.io: the app asks ipinfo.io for your current public IP address and approximate location so it can show whether the VPN is working. See ipinfo.io's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1): while connected, your device uses Cloudflare's public DNS resolver. See Cloudflare's resolver policy.
• Apple App Store / Google Play: subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google under their privacy policies.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes the key from your device. To delete the records we hold for your device, contact us with your request; we will delete them within 30 days. Inactive device records may be removed automatically.

Children

USA VPN is not directed at children under 13.
